Laughter riot ‘Housefull 3’ has completed 5 days journey at box office on an excellent note and still has good hold over audience. Not only in weekend but in weekdays too, the movie is getting amazing response from audience across the country. In just 5 days of release, it is all set to cross 70 crores on domestic box office.

In the opening weekend, Housefull 3 reported better performance than any movie in this year and registered the highest opening weekend collection by dominating Shahrukh’s Fan with 53.31 crores, that includes 15.21 crores of Friday, 16.30 crores of Saturday and 21.80 crores of Sunday.

Now the movie is running in weekdays and still showing impressive performance. On Monday, despite being normal working day, Housefull 3 raked the business of 8.25 crores. On the next day i.e. Tuesday, it faced more drop and minted the amount of 7.07 crores and made its domestic total collection as 68.63 crores.

This latest installment of India’s very successful comedy franchise Housefull is now at the 6th position among year’s top grosser movies and aiming to acquire 5th position by surpassing the lifetime collection of Kapoor & Sons (73.25 crores) by today. Till the end of this week, Housefull 3 is positively expected to become 3rd highest grosser movie of the year.

Considering current trend, it seems quite difficult for Housefull 3 to break the highest opening week collection record made by Akshay’s last movie Airlift (83.50 crores), but the record of second highest opening week is sure.
