8th Day Performance of Shankar’s “I”

The romantic cum action packed blaster I have been running on big screens from 8 days. Where one week was quite impressive, yesterday emerged with big drop and so continued today also due to weekday time. Young generation audience has loved the film especially for its attractive pairing and interesting theme. Vikram is back after a good lap of time in the Kollywood Industry after successful hits in past and he along with Amy has done a good work in the film.

Released on different day, film got good advantage in beginning but now it is appearing as a bit negative. Too high buzz equals to either too high satisfaction or too low. The same has happened bit in case of this film too. Though I was not supported too largely as Lingaa etc but still this film has showed that audience is still inclined towards other genres too apart from the usual comedies, romantic or action films.

“I” second Wednesday Income

One negative factor reacting against it is that film is not so suitable for families or kids as action is something that families do not opt much for. Now with the weekdays tomorrow also it will face a fall in response as per the reports. Anyhow total second Wednesday collection of film is nearly 4.5 Crores* with Tamil & Hindi version.

Film has shown nice performance by now and got good reviews from the viewers. By now the report shows above average response in Hindi sand excellent in south India but still lacks somewhere to be called a blockbuster. Coming days might prove beneficial for the film in comparison to today due to weekend arriving soon.
