Jai Ho Total Collection from its Paid Premiers: Report

This month of January is all set for Salman Khan’s Jai Ho movie. As last year 2013 has ended with Dhoom 3 bang on box office where most of the records have been set by Dhoom 3 which shattered the record set earlier by Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express. There were many movies released this month. Jai Ho is scheduled to release on January 24, 2014. Salman Khan Starrer and one of the much hyped movies Jai Ho is among the Bollywood lovers in latest time. When you are sure about your product, you try to retain a certain share of the earnings for yourself. This has been a trend in the industry for long. Earlier it used to be keeping the overseas rights of a movie or getting a share in the film. But, Salman Khan has done things differently and succeeded and that has pushed him further onward.

According to a source related to the project, “Salim Khan who is also into distribution business, decided to keep three circuits of the film, while the film has been sold to Eros International for an astronomical price. The circuits are Central Province, Central India and Rajasthan.”

Not many are aware that reportedly this humongous figure of Rs 110 Crores at which Eros has bought the film does not include satellite rights, a segment that forms the second highest stream of revenue for the industry. Khan had earlier already signed a deal of Rs 500 Crores with Star for satellite rights of all his movies. Jai Ho being a Salman Khan movie does not ever require any type of big promotions or marketing as a huge initial box office collection guaranteed. Jai ho trailers and first look have been loved thoroughly by the audience and ahs got many likes within first few hours of their release. As already Dhoom 3 has banged the box office last year with its mind blowing performance all over, critics and trade analysts are very eager to see whether Jai Ho goes new records or not.
