Satyameva Jayate 7th Day Box Office Collection: Earns 64.50 Crores Total from India

The much-awaited Hindi offering released this Independence Day, Satyameva Jayate is undoubtedly performing better than expected at the domestic box office. John Abraham starrer this action thriller is giving a neck to neck competition to the highly anticipated adjacent release of superstar Akshay Kumar Gold in some Indian regions.

Directed by Milap Milan Zaveri, Satyemava Jayate has received mixed reviews from the critics because of ineffective story-line and noticeable flaws in direction. But being a mass entertainer, it got succeed to pull the major crowd on single screens. As a result, the movie made with a budget of 50 crores, is all set to become the next hit of 2018.

Presented by T-Series & Emmay Entertainment, this vigilante action thriller was released amid the huge excitement of fans and surprisingly opened on an amazing note. On Wednesday, it did the business of 20.52 crores and become the 5th highest opener of the year so far in Bollywood.

After facing a major drop on day-2, Satyameva Jayate managed to remain steady and minted the amount of 7.92 crores on Thursday, 9.18 crores on Friday, 9.03 crores on Saturday, and 10.26 crores on Sunday. After the 5-days extended opening weekend, its total collection was recorded at 56.91 crores.

Now on weekdays, as usual, John Abraham – Manoj Bajpayee starrer is getting lower footfalls than earlier. On Monday, it recorded a drop of 52.53% than Thursday and collected 3.76 crores. Then on Tuesday, on a similar note, SMJ raked 3.79 crores and raised 7 days total domestic collection to 64.46 crores nett from 2500 screens across India.
