Julie 2 & Kadvi Hawa 3rd Day Collection, Raai Laxmi Starrer Remains Low Over the Opening Weekend

The new offerings of this week, Julie 2 and Kadvi Hawa were released this Friday with some buzz as compare to other new Hindi offerings across India. Despite being fresh, both the movies struggled a lot to attract audience over the weekend and remained lower than last week’s releases.

Directed by Nila Madhab Panda, Kadvi Hawa is based on curse due to climate change and received good appreciation due to solid content and brilliant performances. But being non-commercial, Sanjay Mishra starrer this black drama got failed to witness considerable response at box office.

On Friday, Kadvi Hawa opened to a poor note and did the business of only 0.05 crore from limited screens across India. Then on Saturday, the movie took nominal growth and minted 0.07 crore. On the next day i.e. Sunday with almost similar pace, it likely to rake 0.08 crore and raise it’s opening weekend total to 0.20 crore.

On the other hand, Julie 2 is the sequel to 2004’s Julie and starring Raai laxmi in lead role. Due to weak story, it received unfavorable remarks from everyone and remained dull over the weekend. On Friday, it did the opening business of 0.52 crore from 1650 screens nationwide.

On the next day i.e. Saturday, Deepak Shivdasani’s directorial remained flat despite weekend and collected the amount of 0.52 crore. Then on Sunday as well, Julie 2 remained almost same and garnered the business of 0.55 crore. With this, it’s 3 days domestic total would become 1.59 crore.
