Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer unconventional romantic drama Kabir Singh continues to score well at the box office. Even in its fourth week, the film is heading smoothly despite having the new Hindi release Super 30 in the opposite which has diverted the major audience toward itself in metros.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the official Hindi remake of Telugu smash hit Arjun Reddy had passed its last 3 weeks at a blockbuster note due to a solid word of mouth and did the business of 249.60 crores with 134.42 crores in the first, 78.78 crores in the second & 36.40 crores in the third week.
Kabir Singh is now running in the fourth week and once again passed the weekend at a strong note. In the fourth weekend, with a maintained pace, it had managed to rake the business of 10.34 crores that included 2.54 crores on Friday, 3.75 crores on Saturday & 4.05 crores on Sunday.
On weekdays, Bhushan Kumar & Murad Khetani’s production has recorded a significant drop in footfalls but still has an enough hold over the audience nationwide. On 4th Monday, it had witnessed a drop of 35.04% vis-a-vis 4th Friday and minted the amount of 1.65 crores.
On the next day i.e. 4th Tuesday, at a similar note, Kabir Singh managed to collect 1.60 crores and raised its 26 days total collection to 263.19 crores nett at the domestic box office. By the end of this week, the film is expected to score nearly 266 crores on board.
