Kabir Singh & Shadaa 5th Day Collection: Shahid-Kiara starrer Hits a Century by Tuesday

The official Hindi remake of Telugu smash hit Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh is getting a wonderful response from the audience on weekdays as well. After a massive opening weekend, it has maintained a solid trend on Monday & Tuesday also and emerged as the 7th Hindi film of the year to cross the 100-crore mark at the domestic box office.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer has got succeed to entertain the audience in theatres and gathered a good word of mouth. From the critics as well, it has received mostly positive reviews for its unconventional story-line and commendable performances by the leading actors.

Kabir Singh had started its journey at an excellent note and registered the 4th best opening of the year so far in Hindi Cinema & the biggest one of Shahid’s career. Over the weekend, it remained super strong and did the business of 70.83 crores that included 20.21 crores on Friday, 22.71 crores on Saturday & 27.91 crores on Sunday.

T-Series Films & Cine 1 Studios’ production had entered on weekdays at a terrific note and bagged the amount of 17.54 crores on Monday. On the next day i.e. Tuesday, after a slight drop, Kabir Singh managed to collect 16.53 crores and raised 5 days total collection to 104.90 crores nett from 3123 screens nationwide.

In parallel, the Punjabi comedy-drama Shadaa is also getting an exceptional response at the box office in Punjabi & nearby regions. With a positive word of mouth, it did the business of 9.25 crores nett (10.89 crores gross) in the opening weekend that included 2.60 crores on Friday, 3.05 crores on Saturday & 3.60 crores on Sunday.

Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa starrer Shadaa is now running on weekdays and at a solid note, it bagged the amount of 2.35 crores on Monday. With a slight dip in footfalls, the film managed to collect 2.10 crores on Tuesday and raised 5 days total collection to 13.70 crores nett (16.07 crores gross) at the domestic box office.
