‘Kapoor & Sons’ 13 Days Total Collection Report
Last week released family entertainer film ‘Kapoor & Sons’ still has good hold over audience and heading smoothly despite new releases. The film has been released with decent initial buzz but positive reviews by critics, have boosted up its performance to a impressive rate and made it to get such tremendous response at box office. Kapoor & Sons has already acquired the third position among year’s top grosser films after Akshay Kumar’s Airlift and Sonam Kapoor’s Neerja. Audience find it very entertaining and delightful; showed bug thumbs up for it.
In its opening week, Karan Johar’s this latest venture had minted the total amount of 46.93 crores, that includes 35.93 crores of weekend and 11 crores of weekdays. It is now running in the second week and despite new releases received excellent response across the country. It has raked the business of 12.09 crores in its second weekend, including 4.21 crores of Friday, 4.24 crores of Saturday and 3.64 crores of Sunday. Not only from India but from overseas also, it reported quite impressive and minted 35.65 crores in 10 days from there.
Now Kapoor & Sons has once again entered in the weekdays and as expected witnessing lesser response than weekend. On Monday it did the business of 1.80 crore as its 11th day collection and 1.70 crore on Tuesday with almost similar response. On the next day i.e. Wednesday, the film recorded slight drop in its business and 1.35 crore as its 13th day collection; made its domestic total as 63.87 crores.
