Katti Batti 1st Day Collection: Mixed Critics Reviews but Decent Performance

Kangana Ranaut’s another romantic comedy movie Katti Batti has released on box office this week. The movie has started on a decent note but received mixed reviews from critics which is not good for it. Audience were waiting for the movie from a long time, but get disappointed after watching the old story with a new title. Still it is getting good support of Kangana’s fans, as a result movie witnessed decent business on Friday.

Katti Batti is directed by Nikhil Advani, who has also directed the last week released Hero. It seems the director avoids use of brain while direction. In his last movie too, he just presented the carbon copy and the same happened with Katti Batti. Critics as well as audience are appreciating the performance of Kangana & Imran Khan but still it is not looking as strong as all were expecting.

Mixed reviews are not the only negative thing for Katti Batti but the biggest hurdle for it, is the adjacent release MSG 2 The Messenger of Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. On its first day, Katti Batti has recorded the overall occupancy of 40% and minted the amount of 5.28 crores in India. Movie is expected to show decent growth in its business on Saturday & Sunday.
