Ki and Ka 9th Day Collection, Crosses 42 Cr at Indian Box Office

Ki & Ka beats Wazir and Emerges as 4th Highest Grosser of 2016

Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s latest offering, the last week released romantic comedy ‘Ki & Ka’. The movie had taken an excellent start at box office with positive reviews from critics as well as audience. Being a bizarre romantic story and the cute chemistry between the lead star, movie had good pre-release hype among audience and as expected performed very well.  It has completed its first week on overall good note and still has much hold.

In its opening weekend, Ki and Ka had reported overall excellent response and minted the amount of 25.23 cr from India, including 7.30 cr of Friday, 8.41 cr of Saturday and 9.52 cr of Sunday. Then in weekdays its business dropped by 50% but still stood decent with 12.34 cr, including 3.54 cr of Monday, 3.30 cr of Tuesday, 2.82 cr of Wednesday and 2.68 cr of Thursday. After 7 days, total collection of Ki and Ka was recorded as 37.57 cr on domestic and 18.63 cr on overseas market.

Now Ki and Ka has entered in its second week and despite new releases like The Jungle Book and Love Games, it has enough hold over audience. On Friday, it witnessed slightly less than Thursday and minted the amount of 2.23 cr. Then on the next day, being Saturday it received little higher and added 2.80 cr to its account. After the 9th day, total domestic collection of this R. Balki’s directorial is recorded as 42.60 cr.
