Heropanti & Kochadaiiyaan 3rd Friday Report
The star kid Tiger Shroff has done the impossible at the box office. His debut flick ‘Heropanti’ has beaten the superstar Rajnikanth’s highly anticipated ‘Kochadaiiyaan’. The film was mostly criticized by the film critics but its collection is the latest example that a masala entertainer is no more in awe of good reviews. The Rajnikanth’s starrer ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ opened with huge buzz but nothing extraordinary came at fore at box office except in the South circuits, obviously Rajnikanth’s fan following being a major reason. In North circuits and at international market the flick isn’t performing well. Taran Adarsh states further that “BO performance of the Hindi version of Kochadaiiyaan is below par in the Hindi belt. As highlighted in our ‘BO Update’ on Friday, the postponement of its release date affected its business to an extent. Also, animation films produced in India haven’t found whole-hearted mandate from the audience thus far”.
Kochadaiiyaan & Heropanti 15th Day BO Collection
In total 15 days of their journey both these films have outperformed and are running as most successful release form past 15 days and this month. Also these are all set to list in the top grosser of 2014. On their 15thworking day, Heropanti has collected over 0.40 Crores and Rajnikanth starrer Kochadaiiyaan made a business of around 1.5 Crores by the end of the day. Tiger, with his mastery over action and dance, bravely carried off his debut film on his shoulders. The film opened well, and has emerged a winner till now. The much-delayed Kochadaiiyaan, on the other hand, did so as per the expected mark of business but still running above all. After a fair time some films are running so long on box office, so everyone is eager to see how long these two flicks sustain on box office.
