Komban is the new Tamil film that released this Thursday on screens along with other movies in different fields. However, Komban has submitted excellent performance in the first four days & weekend but with today as the weekend has passed hence the overall performance was seen much dropped due to weekday. Although, looking to previous south Indian films at box office, it has done good business and justice to it.

The journey till end of first weekend was good in account of the film but it saw bit of competition from other movies from different film industries like Hollywood Fast & Furious 7 which is in the huge hypes & running best and Bollywood film Detective Byomkesh Bakshy starring Sushant Singh Rajput which is also running well.

Anyways the film has not been affected much either day due to different genres and languages. First weekday has brought normal collection for the film with lesser occupancy due to non weekend time.

Due to suitable genre and nice entertainment factor film is still receiving good response from the south Indian audience. It was in good position before the release but the first weekday has somewhat brought average business figures in its cash registers with total box office collection of 1.25 crore* on 5th day of release.

It’s not proper to say that Komban can compete the records of previous Tamil movies or with that of other co releases in Hindi and English that well but yes as per the reports, it seems to be running nice and smooth on screens and will continue to do so until any other awaited or hit movie gets released on screens whether in Tamil or Telugu language.
