‘Kung Fu Panda 3’ has Minted 10.10 Cr in Opening Weekend on Indian Box Office
Third installment of animated American-Chinese comedy action franchise Kung Fu Panda has been released at box office this weekend and witnessed excellent response from audience in India. One of the favorite Hollywood movies in India, Kung Fu Panda 3 has released in four different languages in the country- English, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu with 3D visual effects. As expected it has received overwhelmed response and reviews across the nation and minted an excellent amount in its opening weekend.
Directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson & Alessandro Carloni and bankrolled by Melissa Cobb under the banner DreamWorks Animation, Kung Fu Panda 3 has been released on January 2016 in China and US. Now it has released in India on decent number of screens and as expected getting good response from under 18 audience. The opening weekend collection of the movie from Indian screens, shows the clear picture of audience excitement.
Kung Fu Panda 3 has raked the total business of 10.10 crores in the first weekend nationwide, that includes 2.10 crores of Friday, 3.40 crores of Saturday and 4.60 crores of Sunday. Despite new Hindi release Ki and Ka, this animated Hollywood movie has recorded impressive foot fall towards theaters. Now from next week another much hyped Hollywood movie The Jungle Book is being released in India a week before than its US release.
