Directed by Arif Ali and produced by Saif Ali Khan, Lekar Hum Deewana Dil is the latest Bollywood romantic cum comedy movie that hit the theatres today on 4th July 2014. Both the producer Saif Ali Khan & Dinesh Vijan Cast a fresh faces Armaan Jain & Deeksha Seth in lead roles that are making their Bollywood debut under the banner of Eros international production company. It also marks the debut of Saif’s brother in Law and Kareena’s cousin Armaan Jain into Bollywood through this film. Raj Kapoor’s films were known for their music and one is glad to know that his daughter’s son has started off at the right note. The film also marks the directorial debut of Imtiaz Ali’s brother Arif Ali. Many things about the movie are interesting and the promotions were also good so predictions were that the film will start decently and same is happening. First day of the film Lekar Hum Deewana Dil went good on the whole.

With such illustrious names attached to this film, it is but obvious that the expectations from its album will be sky high. And when the film also purports to serve as the launch pad for the grandson of Raj Kapoor, there is absolutely no doubt that the makers would have pulled all stops to make it a huge success. On its first day of release the film managed to earn some money and closed down at 1.21 Crores. It cannot be said a fantastic performance but not too worse wither. On the negative side Lekar Hum Deewana Dil is facing tough competition with Vidya Balan latest movie Bobby Jasoos which also released today on the same time. So it is going to be quite interesting to see which movie makes more earning – an established actress starrer movie or a high family associated debut starrer.
