Recording a drop of around 8o% from Week 1, Rajinikanth recent action cum romantic movie Lingaa is now facing a fall down in its business. The film held up well at multiplexes, with almost all circuits holding up well after decent three weeks. The film made a record breaking performance in its total journey till now and has many accolades in its name. It stands right at top Kollywood grossers of last year 2014 by now and all set to break the lifetime collection of own blockbuster Kochadaiiyaan.

It is a huge compliment for the film that it sustained its business till 22nd day and still doing well. How so ever now the film graph is going very down due to the different factors. Firstly the release of popular and big film like PK, in its second week and now some low budget films in its fourth week which all are getting a decent release, has significantly resulted in reducing the shows of Lingaa at multiplexes and all over the places.

Even though, the film is seeing little audience who are still interested in watching it. Today being the fourth Friday for Lingaa, it opened with 20% occupancy in theatres and made a total business of around 1.95 Crore*. Seeing so serious competition going on in the box office and that the film is in its fourth week, even this much performance is also very good but we are expecting much from Lingaa in the upcoming days of the weekend because the film has got potential of attracting the audience even now.

Let see how well does the film manages to do in its fourth week & whether the fourth week is the end of business for Lingaa or it does survive longer on box office.
