The Rajinikanth latest romantic cum action film Lingaa has performed excellently in its first, second and third week. The film is now to the middle of its fourth consecutive week on box office and has made a record breaking performance in four week journey on the big screen till today. After grossing 150+ Crores in 15 days, the film is currently the second highest Kollywood grossers of 2014. It is now 23rd working day for Lingaa and the film is all about to perform with bit better response on box office tomorrow with Sunday in hand.

Today being another weekend day, the film made a decent enough income by the end of day. Interestingly, this film has beaten the likes of many south Indian movies in past which had successful stints at the box office. In close range of usurping to the top position, Lingaa is in close range of Kochadaiiyaan which is settled at the top position with the highest lifetime collection.

The film has shown marvelous business on Kollywood + Bollywood screens by now and stands right at top positions of the south Indian films this year. The film today i.e. on its 23rd day of release or fourth Saturday collected overall amount of 1.77 Crores*. If Lingaa keeps this pace over the fourth weekend ends i.e. by tomorrow also, then it has high chances of getting more near to highest collections.

Now when the new films have released from different industries like it is quite difficult for Lingaa to find its place even in the weekend but looking at the present scenario, it can still manage to make some good profit tomorrow and end its fourth weekend decently with breaking news.
