After claiming the number 2 position among the top 10 Tollywood/Kollywood grosser all over the places in south, Rajinikanth and Sonakshi Sinha starrer action cum romantic movie Lingaa is still running on box office with surviving figures somehow. Though the film has lost almost all of its response and income now but the early trade report of the film is just phenomenal. The movie has effectively broken the records of some different films in south Indian as well as other film industry. After all this, Lingaa stands at the highest earning Tamil movie of the year 2014.

Though this superb action biggie has made a blast in domestic country and done overwhelming business in outside India too yet his film still lags behind Kochadaiiyaan as far as total film box office collections are considered. At domestic level film even after not so immaculate response has broken many records in itself making it a good and successful release. This shows that Lingaa has become one of the memorable and blockbuster films of our film industry.

Fourth Tuesday had a very low begin overall & today being a weekday, the film earned comparatively too lower business and stood up with 1 Crore* only as its 26th day income. Box office collections of film have got an insignificant decrement with the past two weeks.
