The Rajinikanth & Sonakshi Sinha starrer Tamil movie Lingaa is being said to be top second grosser in the south region. This record breaking show has surpassed all the records and names created by south Indian stars by now except Kochadaiiyaan. Going by the available statistics put forward by known websites, it is not just the domestic terrain where Lingaa is blazing ahead each day. On the overseas scene too, this ultimate action flick has broken much records so far.

This film was released in Tamil and Hindi also and the domestic collection includes figures of all these translations too. To add to its laurels, most of the critics and reviewers have claimed this film as one of the best films made in south film industry.
