Maari 1st / 2nd Day Collection – Dhanush Registered Highest Opening of his Career

Dhanush starrer latest Tamil movie Maari has started on a good note at box office. The movie is getting wonderful response from audience in Tamil Nadu. On its opening day, Dhanush has registered the highest opening of his career with Maari. Audience liked the movie and appreciating the performance of Dhanush and his co-actor Kajal Aggarwal in the movie.

With overall occupancy of around 75% Maari opened up on its first day and collected the total amount of approx. 6.54 crores from its Tamil Nadu screens. With these figures Maari has break the opening records of Dhanush last two releases Anegan and VIP. On its first day Anegan collected 5.8 crores and VIP collected 4.4 crores.

Even after having biggest movie Baahubali (Tamil) in competition, Maari is performing fearlessly. Dhanush is having very high fan following in India especially in South, so it is getting full support of his fans. Earlier it was not expected to perform like this at box office as Baahubali is soaring high at box office.

Today is the second day of Maari at box office, the movie started with almost similar occupancy as yesterday. As per the report from sources and advance booking stats, the second day collection of Maari is recorded as 6.94 crores. Tomorrow is the main day of weekend i.e. Sunday being a holiday it always results in high collection for all the movies and Maari is also expected to get the same.
