Madaari 2nd Day Collection, Irrfan Khan starrer Struggles at Box Office

This Friday there are many Hindi movies that have been released on box office but we can still consider social-thriller Madaari as a solo release. Because rest all are just fillers, have no buzz among audience and attempted a successful suicide opposite to Rajinikanth’s Kabali and already existed giant Salman Khan’s Sultan. Irrfan Khan & Jimmy Sheirgill starrer Madaari is also struggling at box office due to these.

Nishikanth Kamat’s directorial this latest offering has little buzz among audience because of his association with it as a director and the presence of very promising actors Irrfan Khan & Jimmy Sheirgill. Both the actors are known for their skills and are being praised by everyone for Madaari too. The movie also has received almost favorable reviews from critics as well as moviegoers.

On the opening day, most of the audience preferred Sultan & Kabali more over Madaari. That is why it reported below average occupancy of 10-15% across the country and minted the amount of only 2.25 crores, which is even lesser than Sultan’s 17th day collection. But the survival pill for the movie is, it has decent word of mouth.

On Saturday being weekend and due to favorable buzz, Madaari witnessed decent growth in its occupancy and added the amount of 3.50 crores to its account. With this, its 2 days total collection has become 5.75 crores on domestic box office. It is positively expected to gain more on Sunday.
