Manikarnika & Thackeray 1st Day Collection Prediction, Kangana’s Film to take Good Lead

The first Hindi biggie of the year 2019, Manikarnika is all set to hit the screens this Friday i.e. 25 January 2019 along with the much-anticipated Thackeray. Kangana Ranaut starrer period drama is a big budget film, has a renowned star cast and showcases the grandeur. While on the other hand, Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer mid-budgeted biographical drama is backed by his stellar performance.

Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi & Kangana herself, Manikarnika- The Queen of Jhansi is based on the life of Rani Laxmibai. The film is making a good buzz since it was announced and has generated more hype among the audience by its trailer & music videos.

Since 2015’s Tanu Weds Manu Returns, one of the most talented Bollywood actresses Kangana is seeking for a hit. After the flops, I Love NY, Katti Batti, Rangoon & Simran, she is back to compensate with a magnum opus Manikarnika, which is expected to open excellently in a range of 12-14 crores from approx. 3000 screens across India including Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.

The other offering Thackeray is directed by Abhijit Panse and based on the life of Balasaheb Thackeray, the founder of Indian political party Shiv Sena. Co-stars Amrita Rao, the film has good hype among the audience despite being promoted on a normal scale.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of the most talented & versatile actors of Bollywood, who has received appreciation for almost all his roles so far. Because of his presence, Thackeray is expected to take a good start in a range of 7-9 crores at the domestic box office. In Maharashtra, Manikarnika will face tough competition because of it.
