Manikarnika & Thackeray 2nd Day Collection, Kangana Ranaut starrer takes a Massive Growth

After a decent start, the magnum opus Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi has witnessed a massive growth in business on Saturday due to Republic Day holiday and a positive word of mouth. While the adjacent release Thackeray has also recorded a healthy jump in footfalls across India.

Starring Kangana Ranaut along with Jisshu Sengupta, Ankita Lokhande, Danny Denzongpa & Atul Kulkarni, the Hindi period drama Manikarnika has got succeed to hit the target right and received mostly positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience. Because of which, it has gathered a good word of mouth.

On Friday, Krish Jagarlamudi & Kangana’s directorial opened on an average note but picked up decently post noon shows in multiplexes and registered the opening business of 8.75 crores. On Saturday, it took an exceptional growth of 106.86% and raked the business of 18.10 crores. After 2 days, its total collection has become 26.85 crores from 3000 screens across India including Hindi, Tamil & Telugu versions.

On the other hand, Nawazuddin Siddiqui & Amrita Rao starrer biographical drama Thackeray has also got succeed to impress many in theatres and received positive reviews from the critics. With a superb response from Maharashtra, Abhijit Panse’s directorial opened well and did the business of 6 crores on Friday nationwide.

On the next day i.e. Saturday, Thackeray witnessed a healthy growth of 66.7% and managed to collect the amount of 10 crores. With this, its 2 days total collection has become 16 crores at the domestic box office including Hindi & Marathi versions.
