Mastizaade and Saala Khadoos 2nd Day Collection on Indian Box Office

‘Mastizaade’ & ‘Saala Khadoos’ Saturday Business

This Friday released two new films opposite genres Mastizaade and Saala Khadoos are getting above average response at box office. Very promising actor R Madhavan starrer sports drama film Saala Khadoos is receiving positive reviews from critics as well as moviegoers but has limited number of screens, as a result not grossing impressive business. In parallel, Sunny Leone starrer Mastizaade was buzzing among audience from a long because of its bold content. But after the release, getting mixed response from critics as well as audience.

On the opening day, Mastizaade recorded the overall occupancy of 30% across the country and minted the amount of 5.59 crores. The collection is decent but the mixed reactions of audience, have melted down its hype at box office. The same kind of condition we saw last week with adult comedy film Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3. Actually there are two things common in these films- first is Tusshar Kapoor and second is their performances at box office.

Rajkumar Hirani’s Saala Khadoos was also recorded almost similar occupancy on first day and raked the business of 2.19 crores on Indian screens that includes 1.28 crore of Hindi and 0.91 crore of Tamil version. The collection is not to impressive but it is getting good word of mouth which will definitely result in positive for it.

On Saturday being weekend, both the film have witnessed little better than Friday. Mastizaade has done the business of 6.11 crores as its second day collection with 35-40% of occupancy. Whereas Saala Khadoos has minted the amount of 3.54 crores that includes 2.09 crores of Hindi and 1.45 crore of Tamil version.
