Superstar Tom Cruise starrer the newly released Hollywood biggie Mission: Impossible – Fallout is reigning the Indian box office despite having several new & existing Hindi offerings in parallel. The American action spy thriller got succeed to impress everyone and gained a strong word of mouth.
Directed by Christopher McQuarrie, the sixth installment of the popular Hollywood franchise Mission: Impossible, Fallout has received rave reviews from the critics as well as the audience for its solid plot and edge-of-the-seat thrilling actions & stunts. As a result, it remained the first choice of all in this week so far.
Due to huge excitement, Mission: Impossible – Fallout opened on an excellent note and did the business of 43.76 crores nett (56.10 crores gross) in the first weekend with 10.53 crores on Friday, 12.99 crores on Saturday & 20.24 crores on Sunday.
Then on weekdays as well, it managed to remain solid after a usual drop in footfalls. On Monday, Paramount Pictures’ presentation raked the business of 5.79 crores with a dip of 45% than Friday. Dropping further, the movie minted the amount of 5.50 crores on Tuesday.
On the next day i.e. Wednesday, MI6 witnessed slight more decline and bagged the amount of 4.95 crores. With this, its 6 days total collection has become 60 crores nett (76.92 crores gross) from Indian screens including English, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu languages.
On the other hand, Hindi release Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 registered the business of only 4.40 cores in the opening week with mixed reactions. On weekdays, it faced a usual drop and minted the amount of 0.60 crore on Monday, 0.57 crore on Tuesday & 0.50 crore on Wednesday to raise its 6 days total to 6.07 crores.
