12 Days Total Collection of Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro
Hrithik Roshan starrer Mohenjo Daro is now just crawling on box office. Despite being highly star powered, budgeted and promoted, this epic adventure has not witnessed much response on box office and marked as one of the biggest flops of the year. Due to its weak execution, Mohenjo Daro got failure to satisfy critics as well as moviegoers, which melted down all its hype in few days of release.
Fans of Hrithik and some audience liked the movie but still it has not come out as good as everyone was expecting earlier. Due to Akshay Kumar’s thriller drama Rustom in opposite, it faced heavy competition in the opening week and lagged behind by much difference. In the second weekend too, it did not performed well and raked lesser business than new low hyped release Happy Bhag Jayegi.
In the opening week, Ashutosh Gowariker’s directorial Mohenjo Daro recorded an average occupancy and did the business of 51.18 crores from around 2700 screens in India. Now the movie is in its second week and due to cold reactions of audience it raked only 3.88 crores in the second weekend, including 1.05 crore of Friday, 1.28 crore of Saturday and 1.55 crore of Sunday.
After 10 days, total collection of Mohenjo Daro was recorded as 55.06 crores across India and 26.20 crores from overseas market. Now once again, Hrithik starrer is running in weekdays and getting least occupancy. On its second Monday, it faced almost 40% of drop than last Friday and minted 0.62 crore.
On the next day i.e. Tuesday, it recorded slight more drop and added the amount of 0.59 crore to its account. With this total 12 days collection of Mohenjo Daro has become 56.27 crores on domestic box office. This week is likely to be the end of its journey on box office, because from coming Thursday Tiger Shroff’s A Flying Jatt is releasing.
