Diljit’s ‘Mukhtiar Chadha’ Completes 1st Weekend with 6+ Cr in India

Prince of Punjab Diljit Dosanjh & Oshin Sai starrer latest romantic comedy Punjabi movie Mukhtiar Chadha is doing well at box office across the country. The movie was released this Friday on good number of screens under the distribution banner of Eros International. It has received mixed reviews from critics but audience find it entertaining and worth watch. Mukhtiar Chadha is getting overwhelmed response from audience in Punjab & Delhi. Most of the theaters in its dominated region Punjab have reported it as houseful for the whole weekend.

Fans of Diljit were very excited for its release from the time when its official trailer was released out. Now everyone is showing immense craze for the movie and their excitement can be seen easily on social media and outside the theaters. On Friday, it was recorded the overall occupancy of 80% in north India and minted the amount of approx. 2 crores* as its first day collection. On the next day, being Saturday it showed decent growth and grossed 2.25 crores*. On Sunday being the public holiday, Mukhtiar Chadha has witnessed more rise in its business and added 2.65 crores* to its account and made its opening weekend total to 6.90 crores* on Indian screens.
