Neerja 18th Day Collection, Grossed 63.79 Cr in last 17 Days at Box Office

Sonam Kapoor starrer ‘Neerja’ has performed tremendously till its second week at box office in India as well as in overseas. The film has been released last month with average hype among audience but super positive reviews of critics and b-town celebs, had boosted it up abruptly. Due to its strong content and remarkable performances of star cast, Neerja retained its pace every well. The actress is getting appreciated by everyone for her brilliant performance in a leading role of Neerja Bhanot. With such outstanding response, it has become the second highest grosser film of the year so far after Akshay Kumar’s Airlift.

In its first two weeks, Neerja had witnessed excellent audience response and raked the business of total 57.75 crores on Indian screens, that includes 35.32 crores of first week and 22.43 crores of the second week. Now the film has entered in its third week and still getting much at box office. In its third weekend opposite to freshly released Jai Gangaajal, it had minted the amount of total 6.04 crores, that includes 1.15 crore of Friday, 2.20 crores of Saturday and 2.69 crores of Sunday. As per report, it has grossed the amount of 24.81 crores till yet from its overseas screens.

Once again Neerja is facing weekdays and asusual getting low occupancy in theaters. On Monday being holiday due to Mahashivratri, it has received little decent response and added the amount of 1.45 crore as its 18th day collection on domestic box office. Till the end, total collection of Neerja is recorded as 65.24 crores.
