Neerja 8th Day Collection, Sonam Kapoor starrer Retains its Pace

Neerja has Grossed 35.32 crores in Opening Week

Last week released, Sonam Kapoor starrer drama thriller film Neerja has completed its first week journey at box office on an excellent note. The film has been released on 700 screens only across the country and witnessed terrific audience response through out. It has received very positive reviews from critics, which has created positive buzz about it at box office and attracting more audience toward theaters. The actress has given power packed performance in the film and is being praised by everyone for this.

In its first week, Neerja has raked the business of total 35.32 crores on Indian screens only, that includes 22.01 crores of weekend and 13.31 crores of weekdays. The weekend total comprised with 4.70 crores of Friday, 7.60 crores of Saturday and 9.71 crores of Sunday. In weekdays too it remained strong and minted the amounts of 3.70 crores on Monday, 3.41 crores on Tuesday, 3.14 crores on Wednesday and 3.06 crores on Thursday. As per report, the film has crossed the mark of 50 crores at worldwide box office and is expected to complete the target at domestic box office by this week.

In the second week, the screen count of Neerja has increased to 900. Due to which, the film is positively expected to show impressive rise in its business on Saturday and Sunday. On Friday, it witnessed almost similar response as Thursday at box office and minted the amount of 3.15 crores as its 8th day collection. Till the end of the day, total collection of Neerja is recorded as 38.47 crores on Indian screens.
