AR Rahman who is known for his ultimate singing skills and huge fan following in the all over Indian regions and internationally, is again back with his latest venture OK Kanmani starring Nithya Menon and Dulquer Salmaan. This film released last Friday on box office with much audience excitement and hypes. Being a total romantic dosage for the audience, they have just loved this film a lot. How so ever the total performance of OK Kanmani is not as outstanding and mind blowing as the expectations from this film were before its official release.

Film on the first weekend maintained its reputation quite well and took lead over other co release horror comedy Kanchana 2. Monday i.e. 4th day income of OK Kanmani is around 2.7 crores* from South Indian regions . Now that the weekend time has gone so it is quite difficult for the film to sustain with high figures.

With a good star cast featuring Dulquer Salmaan as the male lead and hit Nithya Menon opposite him along with other main characters has got overall a nice audience response on its 4th day too. Although OK Kanmani was a much hyped and buzzed film due to its high rated star cast and audience favorable response in the pre release period, but the film in actual has shown everyone normal only good report and not any record breaking.

The figures are not bad than weekend but not as high as could have been due to interference of Kanchana 2 up to a limit. Anyhow total fourth day performance report is decent due to competition with it only. The coming days are expected to bring lesser figures in account of this entertainer due to low occupancy & response from the audience.
