‘The Jungle Book’ 1 Month Glorious Journey!
Walt Disney’s marvelous presentation ‘The Jungle Book’ has completed its one month journey at Indian box office with an impressive performance through out. because of wide scale promotions, the movie has been released with much hype and received outstanding response from audience across the country. Very smoothly The Jungle Book has dominated all the Bollywood movies released this year so far and become the highest grosser Hollywood movie of all time in India. Still in its fifth week, it is adding considerable amounts to its account.
In its first week, The Jungle Book registered second highest opening week collection record of this year so far after Airlift with the amount of 74.08 cr, that includes 40.47 cr of weekend and 33.61 cr of weekdays. In the second week, despite Shahrukh Khan’s Fan it continued with terrific pace and minted the amount of 47.69 cr, that includes 27.20 cr of weekend and 20.49 cr of weekdays.
In the third week, again it showed a steady performance and raked the handsome amount of 30.56 cr, including 18.92 cr of weekend and 11.64 cr of weekdays. Then in the fourth week, it had to face Shraddha Kapoor & Tiger Shroff starrer Baaghi but this Bollywood movie didn’t affect its performance. With much hold over audience, The Jungle Book did the business of 17.34 cr, that includes 10.47 cr of weekend and 6.87 cr of weekdays. After four weeks, total collection of the movie was recorded as 169.67 cr on Indian box office.
In its fifth weekend, The Jungle Book has witnessed little dip in its pace as the new Hollywood biggie Captain America Civil War has released from this week. On a decent note, it minted the amount of 0.75 cr on Friday and 1.34 cr on Saturday. Today is the Sunday and being holiday it has started the day on little higher note and likely to rake 1.52 cr as its 31st day collection. After a month, total collection of The Jungle Book is estimated to be around 173.28 cr on Indian box office.
