One Month Total Collection of Toilet Ek Prem Katha TEPK, Earns 133.58 Crore in 30 Days

Superstar Akshay Kumar’s most favorite movie of the year Toilet Ek Prem Katha has completed the journey of one month at box office on an overall excellent note. With it’s solid content and brilliant performances by the entire cast, this satirical romantic drama has impressed everyone received huge appreciation from them across the globe.

Inspired by the PM Narendra Modi’s initiative ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’, Toilet Ek Prem Katha stars Bhumi Pednekar as a leading lady opposite to Akshay Kumar. From most of the critics, it has got positive reviews and gained strong word of mouth, which helped it to run steady for long.

After a strong opening, Shree Narayan Singh’s directorial TEPK picked up impressively well over the opening weekend and did the business of 96.05 crores in first week. This included 51.45 crores of weekend and 44.60 crores of weekdays from approx. 3000 screens across the country.

In the second week as well the remained good and registered the business of 28.35 crores, including 19 crores of weekend and 9.35 crores of weekdays. Then in the third week, Akshay-Bhumi starrer got slowed down by usual rate and minted the amount of 7 crores, with 4.50 crores of weekend and 2.50 crores of weekdays.

With further drops Toilet Ek Prem Katha added the amount of 2 crores to it’s account in 4th week, that included 1.20 crore of weekend and 0.80 crore of weekdays. After 4 weeks, total collection of the movie was recorded as 133.40 crores at domestic box office.

Now TEPK is running in the fifth weekend and heading on a very low but steady note. On 5th Friday, it collected the amount of 0.08 crore with 47% of drop than previous day. On the next day i.e. 5th Saturday, Toilet Ek Prem Katha witnessed slight growth and estimated to collect 0.10 crore to make it’s 30 days domestic total 133.78 crores.
