Padmaavat 25th Day Collection, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Film Passes 4th Weekend Strongly

The third collaboration of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh with ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Padmaavat is heading steadily at the box office in its fourth week as well. The epic period drama, that also stars Shahid Kapoor, has passed the fourth weekend on a strong note despite having Aiyaary and Padman in the opposite alongside the Hollywood’s Black Panther.

Like Bhansali’s previous venture Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat that was earlier titled as Padmavati is liked by all the viewers and gained positive word of mouth. As a result, it has shown excellent performance at the box office so far.

Despite all the challenges, Viacom 18 Motion Pictures’ presentation opened to an excellent note and remained strong afterward. In last 3 weeks, it did the business of total 267.75 crores, that included 166.50 crores of the 8-days extended first week, 69.50 crores of the second and 31.75 crores of the third week.

Now the film is running in its fourth week and once again passed the weekend strongly. With a drop of 30% than the previous day, Padmaavat minted the amount of 1.75 crore on 4th Friday. Then with a fair jump over the weekend, it collected the business of 3 crores on 4th Saturday and 4 crores on 4th Sunday.

With this, the total collection of Padmaavat after 25 days, has become 276.50 crores at the domestic box office. As per current trend, the film is expected to remain steady throughout this week.
