Padmaavat 28th Day Collection, Deepika-Ranveer-Shahid Starrer Goes Past 280 Crores Total

Despite all the challenges it faced earlier, Padmaavat got released with huge buzz and as expected impressed everyone. The movie showed excellent performance at the box office by remaining strong throughout its journey so far. This highly buzzed magnum opus has become the highest grosser of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor, Padmaavat got postponed several times because of protests against its release. But still, it remained anticipated and picked up impressively well at the box office after an excellent opening despite not being screened in major states of India.

In last 3 weeks, this epic period drama raked the business of total 267.75 crores on an excellent note, that included 166.50 crores of the 8-days extended first week, 69.50 crores of the second and 31.75 crores of the third week.

The movie is now running in the fourth week and once again passed the weekend on a strong note. It did the business of 8.75 crores, that included 1.75 crore on Friday, 3 crores on Saturday and 4 crores on Sunday.

Then on weekdays, Padmaavat witnessed an abrupt drop but still heading steadily. On 4th Monday, it minted the amount of 1.55 crore after a drop of 11.5% than last Friday. With a further decrement in footfalls, it added 1.25 crore to its account on 4th Tuesday.

On the next day i.e. 4th Wednesday, Deepika-Ranveer-Shahid starrer has done the business of 1.23 crore and raised its 28 days total collection to 280.53 crores at the domestic box office.
