After an average opening weekend, Bollywood’s one of the most popular actresses Anushka Sharma starrer Pari has now entered on weekdays and unfortunately doesn’t seem able to remain steady at the box office. Due to mixed reactions from the viewers, the movie has now started losing its hold over the audience.
Directed by the debutant Prosit Roy, Pari is a supernatural horror movie, that created good buzz among fans with its promos. But still, it took a slow start on Friday and remained behind the last week released Sonu Ki Titu Ke Sweety throughout the opening weekend.
On the first day, Clean Slate Films and KriArj Entertainment’s first collaboration opened on a slow note in morning due to Holi celebration and registered an average opening of 4.36 crores after showing some growth over the evening and night shows in metro cities.
On Saturday, it took a decent jump of 25.46% and did the business of 5.47 crores. Then on Sunday, Pari remained almost steady and minted the amount of 5.51 crores. After the weekend, the total collection of the movie had recorded 15.34 crores from 1400 screens across India.
Now Pari has stepped in on weekdays and faced more than a usual drop in footfalls. On Monday, it got dropped by 51% than Friday and minted the amount of 2.14 crores. With this, its 4 days total collection has become 17.48 crores at the domestic box office.
