Parmanu & Bucket List (Marathi) 1st Day Box Office Collection, John starrer takes an Average Start

The major Hindi release of this week, Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran has opened on an average note at the domestic box office but received mostly positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the movie is based on the series of underground nuclear tests carried out by India in 1988 at Indian Army’s test range.

Alongside John Abraham, Parmanu stars Diana Penty & Boman Irani in lead roles, all the actors have given quite impressive performances in this engaging period action drama. It stands high on content & performances, and as a result, getting favorable remarks from the viewers across India.

On the first day, Zee Studios’ presentation took a slow start but recorded decent growth over the evening and night shows due to positive word of mouth. On 1935 screens, Parmanu has registered the opening business of 4.82 crores at the domestic box office. As compared to a couple of weeks back released Raazi of similar genre, these numbers can be considered as an average.

On the other hand, Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit has made her debut in Marathi cinema with a drama movie Bucket List which has also released this weekend on 409 screens across the country. As expected, Tejas Vijay Deoskar’s directorial has got succeed to impress critics & viewers with its delightful story-line.

Due to the presence of Madhuri Dixit and good pre-release buzz, Bucket List opened on a fair note. It remained consistent throughout the day and did the business of 0.96 crore. Also, the movie is expected to take good growth over the weekend.
