PK First Week Box Office Response

Quite similar to the earlier Bollywood hit film named Oh My God, Aamir Khan latest movie PK is making decent business all over India. It is one of the most awaited movies of this year as well as of Aamir Khan. Film is full of comedy sequences and outstanding acting skills performed by Aamir khan like always but different this time. Audience loved the movie with mixed response and went in crowds throughout the weekend but the full week.

It has been one week for film since it has released over box office and today is the seventh working day. It showed a good growth over the weekend but then started dropping later on. It faced a considerable drop of around 25-30 % in the morning shows and showed a further growth of around 10% in the evening and late evening shows and scored an overall nice at the box office on Christmas Day.

PK 7th Day Collection in India

The first week box office collections are among highest grossers of all time and 1 week figures are also pretty good. Today Thursday being a weekday the film did decent and performed good in metro cities due to the occasion of Christmas. Total collection mad by PK on its 7th day is around 27.55 Crores making its one week total income in India to stand at nearly 183.09 Crores.

The release was a calculated gamble which has paid off big time. PK was released on very high number of screens and the result can be said well by now. There is no movie in the competition for PK except Lingaa in south which has also made the way much clear for it in the coming days. Films like Action Jackson are out of the race since last week as PK is the only movie dominating Indian screens these days.
