Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (PRDP) 9th Day Collection, Grossed over 175 Cr in 9 Days

Salman’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is heading Excellently!

Sooraj R. Bartajya, Rajshri Productions & superstar Salman Khan’s latest collaboration ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ has successfully acquired the second position among year 2015’s top highest grosser Bollywood movies. It was released on the next day of Diwali i.e. 12th November and within the first week it has done so by dominating the lifetime domestic collection of Tanu Weds Manu Returns. It seems quite difficult for it to gross even near to Salman’s last movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan but still his presence is resulting out in an excellent performance.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was released on 5600 screens worldwide, comprises with 4500 screens in India and rest in overseas. Due to four days holiday weekend, it had showed outstanding performance at box office last week. Now it has entered in the second week, but as no strong option has been released from Bollywood, so PRDP is running very smoothly in this week as well. The movie has received very positive reviews from most of the critics and also getting overwhelmed response from audience across the country.

In the first week, it has reported outstanding performance at box office and grossed total 165.45 crores on Hindi Indian screens. That includes 129.77 crores of weekend and rest 35.68 crores of weekdays. On the very first day of it second week, as expected Prem Ratan Dhan Payo had witnessed considerable drop in its business and raked 7.37 crores as its 8th day collection. On its 9th day, it has faced slight drop and recorded the amount of 5.50 crores. Till the end of day, total collection of the movie is calculated as 178.32 crores.
