‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ has minted over 39 Cr in Opening Week

Last week released laughing riot Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 has completed its first week journey with every decent business total. It is the sequel of 2011’s most appreciated small budget movie Pyaar Ka Punchnama. The movie was released on around 1400 screens in India, that was three times higher than its prequel. Almost all the critics have reviewed it with very positive comments, which generated good work of mouth for it. Audience find the movie very hilarious & entertaining, their positive response created huge buzz about the movie on social media.

Luv Ranjan’s directorial Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 has reported amazing audience response & grossed decent figures through out its first week. It has done the business of 39.25 crores as total, that includes 22.75 crores (Fri 6.80 cr, Sat 7.60 cr, sun 8.35 cr) of weekend & 16.50 crores (Mon 4.35 cr, Tue 3.70 cr, Wed 4.10 cr, Thu 4.35 cr) of weekdays. Considering its production cost, these business figures are excellent.

Now the movie has entered in its second week & due to the release of Shahid Kapoor & Alia Bhatt starer Shaandaar, it has started facing hurdles. But still Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 is heading decently on single screens as well as multiplexes. On its 2nd Friday, it has witnessed the drop of 40% for morning shows. As per the reports, the 8th day collection of the movie is recorded as 2.40 crores.
