Raazi 11th Day Collection: Alia Bhatt’s Film Beats Akshay Kumar’s PadMan within 11 Days

After a remarkable second weekend, Meghna Gulzar’s directorial Raazi has entered on weekdays once again but still has a solid hold over the audience across India. Despite the much-awaited new Hollywood release Deadpool 2, this espionage thriller is heading unaffectedly and has become the 5th highest grossing Hindi film of the year so far.

Based on the novel Calling Sehmat by Harinder Sikka, Raazi is an impactful thriller that keeps you engaged throughout. This is the reason, it is getting positive remarks from all the viewers and has gained strong word of mouth. The powerhouse actress Alia Bhatt has once again proved her mettle and is being appreciated by everyone.

On the second weekend, Dharma Productions & Junglee Pictures’ production showed a superb performance despite Deadpool 2. It did the business of 4.75 crores on 2nd Friday after a minimal drop than the previous day. Then with a noticeable jump, Raazi minted the amount 7.54 crores on 2nd Saturday and 9.45 crores on 2nd Sunday.

Now Alia Bhatt – Vicky Kaushal starrer has entered on weekdays with a maintained pace. On 2nd Monday, it witnessed a drop of 21% than 2nd Friday and collected the business of 3.70 crores. After 11 days, the total collection of Raazi has become 82.03 crores including 56.59 crores of week-1, and with this, it has surpassed the lifetime total of Akshay Kumar’s PadMan (81.82 crores).

In the opening week, this female-oriented Hindi spy thriller remained super-strong throughout and garnered the business of 56.59 crores, that included 32.94 crores of the weekend and 23.65 crores of weekdays from 1500 screens across the country.
