Race 3 18th Day Collection, Salman Khan’s Film now Struggles at the Box Office

Due to mixed reactions from the audience, superstar Salman Khan’s latest offering Race 3 got dropped just after the opening weekend and showing regular downtrend since then. Now after the release of highly anticipated Sanju, the third installment of Race film series has started struggling at the box office.

Directed by Remo D’souza, Race 3 has got failed to impress viewers and received mostly unfavorable feedback from the critics. Still, it has achieved a reputed height at the box office because of the solid stardom of Salman Khan and high recall value of the franchise.

After the excellent first week and disappointing second week, Tips Films & Salman Khan Films’ presentation remained very low on its third weekend as well and did the business of only 0.90 crore opposite Sanju, that included 0.25 crore on 3rd Friday, 0.30 crore on 3rd Saturday, and 0.35 crore on 3rd Sunday.

Now once again it has entered on weekdays and faced a considerable drop in footfalls as usual. On a low note, Race 3 minted the amount of 0.10 crore on 3rd Monday and raised its 18 days total collection to 170.26 crores including 169.26 crores of last 2 weeks.

Due to huge initial buzz, Salman Khan starrer opened on a massive note but got failed to maintain that pace throughout the opening week and raked 144.51 crores from 4000 screens. In the second week, it witnessed a heavy drop and collected the business of only 24.75 crores.
