Race 3 24th Day Collection, Salman Khan’s Film Counting Final Days at the Box Office

Generally, superstar Salman Khan’s films do not slow down too early but unfortunately his latest offering Race 3 is counting the final days at the box office before the end of its fourth week of release. Directed by Remo D’souza, this action thriller got failed to make an impact on the viewers because of lame story-line and weak direction.

Being the highly awaited film of the year and having solid star power, Race 3 opened on a tremendous note and also showed fair growth over the weekend but got failed to carry forward that pace. In the opening week, it did the business of 144.51 crores from 4000+ screens that included 106.47 crores of the weekend and 38.04 crores of weekdays.

In the second week, Tips Films & Salman Khan Films’ presentation got dropped abruptly and raked the business of 24.75 crores with 16.25 crores on the weekend and 8.50 crores on weekdays. Then in the third week, the film came to toe and bagged the amount of 1.25 crores, that included 0.90 crore of the weekend and 0.35 crore of weekdays.

Now the third installment of the Race franchise is running in its fourth week and passed the weekend on a very note. On 4th Friday, it did the business of only 0.02 crore with 75% of a drop than the previous day. With a limited growth, it minted 0.03 crore on 4th Saturday.

On the next day i.e. 4th Sunday, Race 3 garnered the business of 0.04 crore and raised its 24 days total collection to 170.60 crores at the domestic box office. This seems to be the last week for Salman Khan starrer, as Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju is already reigning the box office, also much anticipated Soorma is releasing coming Friday.
