Raid 20th Day Box Office Collection, Takes Baby Steps Toward the 100-Crore Mark

Superstar Ajay Devgn’s latest offering, Raid was expected to hit the century by its 20th day of release. But due to the newly released biggie Baaghi 2, it got slowed down and now will take few more days to accomplish the target. Raj Kumar Gupta’s directorial is now taking baby steps toward the 100-crore mark.

Produced by Panorama Studios and T-Series Films jointly, Raid took a decent start but maintained a solid momentum afterward and registered an excellent business of 63.05 crores in the first week, that included 41.01 crores of the weekend and 22.04 crores of weekdays from 3400 screens.

In the second week as well, this period crime drama remained strong and raked the business of 27.06 crores that included 16.48 crores of the weekend and 10.58 crores of weekdays. After the 2 weeks, the total collection of the movie was recorded 90.11 crores.

Then in its third weekend, Raid witnessed an abrupt drop in footfalls because of having the new Baaghi 2 and last week’s Hichki in the opposite. It did the business of 6.86 crores, that included 1.82 crore of 3rd Friday, 2.26 crores of 3rd Saturday and 2.78 crores of 3rd Sunday.

Now Ajay Devgn & Ileana D’cruz starrer is running on weekdays once again and getting a decent response at the box office. With heavy drop than 3rd Friday, the movie minted the amount of 0.86 crore on 3rd Monday and 0.68 crore on 3rd Tuesday.

On the next day i.e. 3rd Wednesday, Raid got dropped further and bagged the amount of 0.62 crore. With this, its 20 days total collection has become 99.13 crores at the domestic box office. Let see how many days, it will take to join the 100-crore club.
