After the good opening and decent response from the audience on its second day, we saw a decent occupancy in theaters and multiplexes for watching Rowdy and south Indian audience seemed quite satisfied with the entertainment factor of the film. Being a well promoted Tollywood movie with renowned and established star cast Rowdy performed much good in its first weekend. The Bollywood famous personality associated with Rowdy – the popular director Ram Gopal Varma has this time bring a remake of Bollywood film Sarkar, which was a good hit on box office. After giving a good kick start on the opening and first weekend, now the 4th day has ended up with satisfaction.

In this election season, Rowdy is meant to provide some morale and message to all the audience as the story of the movie is all related to politics. And supporting this initial, audience seems to be attracted towards this current issue and politics based action movie. Releasing at such a good time proved as an advantage for it. 4th Day (Monday) business done by Rowdy is 3 Crores. Story of Rowdy is familiar to some of the audience which is acting as a drawback for the film as all those who already know the script are not finding it that entertaining.  Also in addition to it, some of the audience has a lot of craze for Legend which is still running successful all over in south India.

Concluding with the both positive and negative aspects of Rowdy, we come up with the fact that it has managed to do a good business and set a place among the audience but the film could not cross over the figures earned by Legend at all.
