One of the most awaited movies from South Indian Cinema, Rudhramadevi is finally releasing after getting postponed several times. The movie has originally shot in Tamil & Telugu simultaneously and releasing in three more dubbed languages- Hindi, Kannada & Malayalam worldwide. This truth can not be denied that the hype it had earlier, seems missing now. Number of postponement in release has melted down the craze of audience.

Rudhramadevi features the two stars of biggest blockbuster movie Baahubali, Anushka Shetty & Rana Daggubati along with very popular Tollywood actor Allu Arjun in lead roles. It is directed by Gunasekhar & jointly produced by Gunasekhar and Abhishek Nama under the banners Gunaa Team Works & Abhishek Pictures with the high budget of 100 crores.

As Baahubali Rudhramadevi is releasing in Hindi also, but the distribution company Reliance Entertainment has not succeed in making much pre-release hype of the movie among North Indian audience that Karan Johar had made for Baahubali. But still it is expected to take a good start at box office on its Tamil (16 Oct.) & Telugu (9th Oct.) screens. On Hindi screens, it will has to compete with the new release Aishwarya Rai starrer Jazbaa & last week released Akshay Kumar’s Singh Is Bliing.

The journey of Rudhramadevi will not be easy on Tamil screens also, because last week released Puli is still has hold on screens. But as Puli is not getting favorable response from audience so it will be an advantage for Rudhramadevi to perform better. As per the reports, the movie is expected to witness the overall occupancy of 60% in India and would gross 15-20 crores as its first day collection. The exact scenario will be cleared out after its first show, when audience will start reacting, so stay tuned!
