Rudhramadevi 5 Days Total Collection in AP/T

Rudhramadevi, is the latest South Indian movie that has released this week worldwide in 4 languages- Telugu, Hindi, Kannada & Malayalam. The movie has originally shot in Tamil & Telugu simultaneously, but to maintain a proper gap with last week released Tamil movie Puli, makers had decided to release its Tamil version one week later on 16th October. It features Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati & Allu Arjun in lead roles.

The movie has been released on around 1000 Telugu screens in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana regions. There it is getting overwhelmed response from audience and started with 6th highest opening of the year after Baahubali, Srimanthudu, Temper, S/o Satyamurthy & Gopala Gopala. The hype it had earlier among audience was very high but due to getting postponed several times, it has been melted down. But still, movie grossing decent business figures at box office.

In the first weekend, Rudhramadevi was recorded the overall occupancy 60-70% and minted the total collection of 25.10 crores that includes 11.70 crores of Friday, 6.35 crores of Saturday & 7.05 crores of Sunday. The total figure is comprised with 10.60 crores of Andhra Pradesh & 14.50 crores of Telangana. Till the end of the weekend, worldwide collection of Rudhramadevi was reported as approx. 32 crores including all 4 versions.

Now its has been entered in weekdays & being normal working days, it started facing considerable drops in its business. On Monday, movie collected the amount of 3 crores* with more than 50% of drop than previous day. On the next day, it witnessed more drop and done the business of 2.30 crores*. Till the end of its 5th day, total collection of Rudhramadevi is recorded as 30.40 crores* from AP/T Screens only.

Note: Rudhramadevi’s Tamil version will get released on 16th October 2015.
