Fifth Day Collection of ‘Mastizaade’ & ‘Saala Khadoos’

This week released two new films- an adult comedy Mastizaade and a sports drama Saala Khadoos. Both the films have different targeted audience and getting decent response at box office. Sunny Leone, Tusshar Kapoor and Vir Das starrer Mastizaade has received mixed reviews from critics as well as audience, but still grossed decent business total  on Indian screens. On the other hand, R. Madhavan and debutante Ritika Singh starrer Saala Khadoos has received positive reviews from all. But due to limited screen count, it has not grossed any impressive total till yet.

Mastizaade

In the opening weekend, Mastizaade recorded the overall occupancy of 35-40% across the country and did the business of 18.45 crores, that includes 5.59 crores of Friday, 6.11 crores of Saturday and 6.75 crores of Sunday. On Monday being normal working day, it faced a drop of more than 50% and minted the amount of 2.89 crores as its 4th day collection. On Tuesday, it witnessed similar response and raked 2.74 crores, to make its 5 days domestic total as 24.08 crores.

Saala Khadoos

Saala Khadoos has been released on 902 screens across the country in Hindi and Tamil languages. It witnessed the occupancy of 35-40% in the opening weekend across the country and minted the amount of 9.93 crores, that includes 2.19 crores of Friday, 3.54 crores of Saturday and 4.20 crores of Sunday. On Monday, it faced around 50% of drop and raked 1 crore* as its 4th day collection. On Tuesday, with almost similar response it has done the business of 0.80 crore* and made its domestic total to 11.68 crores* including Hindi & Tamil both versions.
