Saiyaara 7th Day Collection: Crosses 175 Cr in 1 Week; Becomes Mohit Suri’s Highest Grosser

The intense love story Saiyaara has created a sensation at the box office despite featuring no big star and no high scale promotions. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, still it has crossed the milestone of 175 crores nett at the domestic box office within a week of release and now inching towards the 200-crore mark, which is historic.

Last Friday released Saiyaara is rewriting history at the box office, which is a great surprise for the industry. Due to the outstanding performance of Saiyaara across the country, makers of upcoming action-comedy Son Of Sardaar 2 have decided to shift its release to the next week, now it will release on 1 Aug 2025 instead of 25 July 2025. This means, Saiyaara will get another uninterrupted week to do its best.

Presented by Yash Raj Films, the romantic drama Saiyaara was opened on a solid note at the box office. With tremendous craze among the young audience, it did a massive business of 22 crores nett and registered the fourth-highest opening of the year so far after Chhaava

(33.10 crores), Sikandar (30.06 crores), and Housefull 5 (24.35 crores).

Due to positive word of mouth and tremendous craze nationwide, Saiyaara witnessed huge growth over the weekend and minted a 3-day total of 84.50 crores nett including 26.25 croress on Saturday and 36.25 crores on Sunday. The PR strategy of the producers and distributors to make the youth emotionally connect with the film has worked like magic, just like it happened during the re-release of Sanam Teri Kasam.

In weekdays as well, Saiyaara stayed rock-solid and managed to collect 24.25 crores on Monday, 25 crores on Tuesday, and 22 crores on Wednesday. On a similar note, it raked 19.50 crores on Thursday and registered a 7-day total of 175.25 crores nett at the Indian box office. Saiyaara has already become the highest grossing directorial film of Mohit Suri after Ek Villain (105.62 crores).
