Sanju 17th Day Box Office Collection, Goes Past 316 Crores Total by its 3rd Weekend

Even after crossing the 300-crore mark, a couple of weeks back released Sanju is in no mood of slowing down. Despite having the new offerings, Soorma & Ant-Man And The Wasp in its opposite, Sanjay Dutt biopic is still pulling enough crowd toward theaters across the country.

Starring the powerhouse of talent Ranbir Kapoor in the titular role, Sanju has received very positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience for his brilliant performance and the inspiring story-line it has. Director Rajkumar Hirani is also being appreciated by many for his proficient direction.

After the two blockbuster weeks, Fox Star Studios’ presentation once again showed an impressive jump over the third weekend. On 3rd Friday, with a drop of 24.45%, it did the business of 4.42 crores. Then on 3rd Saturday, the movie witnessed solid growth and minted 7.75 crores from 2000+ remaining screens in India.

On the next day i.e. 3rd Sunday, Sanju recorded further jump and bagged the amount of 9.29 crores. With this, its 17 days total collection has become 316.64 crores at the domestic box office including the business of total 295.18 crores from last 2 weeks.

Produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani, this biographical drama took an exceptional opening and did the massive business of 202.51 crores in the first week from 4000 screens. In the second week as well, it remained super-strong and garnered the business of 92.67 crores from more than 3000 screens nationwide.
