After the two blockbuster weeks, Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju has passed its third weekend as well on a rock-steady note despite having new offerings- Soorma & Ant-Man And The Wasp in the opposite. Due to strong word of mouth, the movie still pulling enough crowd towards theaters across the country.
Based on the life of an Indian actor Sanjay Dutt, Sanju made a solid impact on the viewers and got very positive feedback from them. For its inspiring story-line and brilliant performances by all the actors, the movie has received favorable reviews from the critics as well.
Being the highly anticipated movie of the year, Rajkumar Hirani’s directorial this biographical drama opened on a tremendous note and did the business of 202.51 crores in the first week from 4000 screens. In the second week as well, it remained super-strong and minted the amount of 92.67 crores from 3000+ screens.
Then in its third weekend, once again Sanju showed an impressive performance and registered the business of total 21.46 crores that included 4.42 crores of 3rd Friday, 7.75 crores of 3rd Saturday, and 9.29 crores of 3rd Sunday from 2000+ screens across India.
Now again it has entered on weekdays and witnessed a usual drop in footfalls. On 3rd Monday, Fox Star Studios’ presentation faced a dip of 36.43% than Friday and minted the amount of 2.81 crores. With this, its 18 days total collection has become 319.45 crores at the domestic box office.
