Sanju 36th Day and Dhadak 15th Day Box Office Collection from Indian Screens

Within 5 weeks of release, blockbuster Sanju has become the third highest grosser of all time in Hindi Cinema by surpassing the lifetime total of Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai & Aamir Khan’s PK. Now it has entered in the sixth week with a limited number of screens and has three new Hindi movies in parallel along with the existing ones.

Being the highest anticipated movie of the year, Rajkumar Hirani’s directorial opened on a massive note and did the business of 202.51 crores in the first week. By remaining strong & steady throughout, it registered the business of 92.67 crores in the second, 31.62 crores in the third, 10.48 crores in the fourth & 3.94 crores in the fifth week.

After 5 weeks, the total collection of Sanju was recorded as 341.22 crores nett. On its 6th Friday, it faced a drop of 41% than the previous day and minted the amount of 0.20 crore. With this, its 36 days total collection has become 341.42 crores nett (437.72 crores gross) at the domestic box office.

In its parallel, 2 weeks back released romantic drama Dhadak has shown an impressive performance at the box office so far despite mixed reactions from the critics as well as the audience. Being the Hindi remake of Marathi blockbuster Sairat & backed by the big production houseit opened on a solid note and did the business of 51.56 crores in the first week.

Then in the second week, Ishaan Khatter & Janhvi Kapoor starrer managed to remain steady and raked the business of 17.61 crores. On 3rd Friday, Dhadak got dropped by 60% than the previous and collected the amount of 0.50 crore & raised its 15 days total collection to 69.67 crores nett (89.32 crores gross).
